Espira 02 - Small quantity mixing pumps are magnetically coupled peripheral pumps designed for demanding mixing, dilution and homogenisation requirements in the laboratory, process development and small scale industries.
The pump head is additionally equipped with one or more fluid connections to enter 1-3 mixing components directly into the pump head.
During the rotation of the impeller there is a rapid pressure increase in the peripheral delivery cells, with a pressure equalization via the impeller and an intensive mixing with the fluid in the delivery channel. This characteristic impulse exchange for peripheral mixers is the basis for an intensive mixing and fast reaction process within the pump head and during the delivery process.

Espira 02 mixing pumps are therefore an effective and economical alternative to stirred tanks, rotor-stator mixers, injectors and static mixers for many processes. Their tolerance to solid or gas fractions also offers alternatives to microchannel-structured mixing units.
Espira small mixers are always manufactured by Fink Chem+Tec in magnetically coupled design. They are therefore hermetically sealed and meet the environmental requirements according to TA-Luft (technical instructions for keeping the air clean).
They are used in research, process development, and small scale production for delivery, mixing, or diluting aggressive acids, alkalis, solvents, or mixing and emulsifying difficult-to-mix fluids, even under high pressure conditions and for high process temperatures.
With their tolerance to solid fractions, there are possible reaction sequences with micron-solids-containing fluids or the initiation of precipitation reactions during the delivery process.
Due to their hermetically sealed, magnetically coupled design, they ensure emission-free handling of aggressive fluids and environmentally hazardous substances and meet the requirements of TA-Luft (technical instructions for keeping the air clean).
EspiraLab EL-02 Small-Mixers and Small-Reactors are particularly adapted to the conditions of laboratory application, process development or small scale production optimization.
They are designed in a compact housing and with integrated speed control. A separate frequency converter and its installation is not required. This saves time, space, installation effort and investment costs.
Operation can be carried out either directly via the illuminated touch panel on the pump or via external interface communication.
For external control, a 4-20 mA interface and a digital RS232 interface are available. The setup button on the user interface can be used to select between internal and external operation.
