Master / slave dosing pumps Ritmo®05

Dosing systems with temporal synchronization and quantity proportionality of 2 or more pulsating fluid streams

Master / slave dosing pumps Ritmo®05

Master / slave dosing pumps Ritmo®05 MS (MS = Master-Slave) have the same constructional characteristics and advantages of a dosing pump Ritmo®05. They are equipped in all PTFE design for all fluid-wetted components, have positively controlled valves and a pulsation-reduced discharge process.

Construction:

Master / slave dosing pumps Ritmo®05 MS are equipped with an additional MS interface and the associated software specially developed for the synchronization of dosing pumps.

Via an associated control cable, the cross-linked metering pumps come into contact with each other. In this way, they exchange their current parameters and synchronize their output and suction cycles via the MS software. An additional external control is not required.

Synchronous MS operating modes are always available where several mixing components or reactants are to be dosed as uniformly as possible, in amount-proportional and time-synchronized in a mixing unit or a reaction vessel and where small, cost-saving automation solutions without complex additional control units are sufficient.

Asynchronous MS operating modes are ideal if 2 dosing pumps are to be networked together for absolutely pulsation-free dosing operations. The output processe of two dosing pumps are synchronized via falling and rising dosing ramps so that the total dosing flow is metered into the process with maximum accuracy and free from pulsation.

With another software option, the asynchronous time sequences of two dosing pumps can also be used on the suction side of the MS dosing pumps. In this modification, the MS dosing pumps suck in slowly and alternately absolutely pulsation-free and eject the aspirated chamber volume at maximum speed. Applications for this may e.g. pulsation-free suction from an absorption column or the suction of acid residues from an ICP-MS process.

Software options:

Software options R05-MS include upgrading and expanding the application possibilities of a master-slave configuration by adapting to special requirements of metering, reaction management and plant configuration.

Software equipment Ritmo®05-MS-SD
(SD = master / slave synchronous pressure side)

With this hardware and software equipment two or more corresponding metering pumps R05 are cross-linked in order to meter two or more mixing components or reactants as uniformly as possible, in proportion to volume and time-synchronously into a mixing unit or into reaction vessel, or into reactionprocess with measurent-monitoring and regulation

Software features Ritmo®05-MS-AD
(AD = master / slave asynchronous pressure side)

This hardware and software equipment allows asynchronous and pulsation-free dosing with 2 alternating dosing pumps R05. The output processes are synchronized in such a way that the totalizing dosing flow is metered into the process with maximum accuracy and without pulsation.

Software equipment Ritmo®05-MS-AS
(AS = master / slave asynchronous suction side)

This hardware and software equipment allows asynchronous and pulsation-free fluid suction by means of 2 alternately operating dosing pumps R05.
The suction processes of two dosing pumps are synchronized in such a way that removal from a reaction- or mixing process with maximum of pulsationfreedom can be ensured.
